Tanya Hibbs-Ginkley

We are thrilled to welcome Tanya Gibbs-Hinkley as the Wayne Highlands representative to the Hancock Central School Board of Education!

Tanya brings a wealth of experience and dedication to education and her community. Born and raised in Honesdale, she is a graduate of Honesdale High School and now resides in Beach Lake with her husband Eric and their five children, all of whom attend or have attended Honesdale High School.

With nearly two decades of volunteering in her district, Tanya has made significant contributions as Vice President of Friends of Soccer, a supporter of Friends of Basketball, and a former PTA member and executive board leader for 18 years. She has also dedicated her time as a preschool teacher, Brownie and Girl Scout leader, and 4-H Club organizer.

Tanya’s passion for education led her to join the Wayne Highlands School Board, where she is now serving her second year. Her experiences during the challenges of COVID further deepened her commitment to students and schools.

In her spare time, Tanya enjoys gardening and spending time with her family.

Please join us in extending a warm Wildcat welcome to Tanya Gibbs-Hinkley! We are excited to have her expertise and enthusiasm on the HCS Board of Education.
