Special Education Vision Statement

At Hancock Central School, through a partnership between regular and special education teachers, students are provided access to a high-quality general education curriculum to the fullest extent possible. Learners are challenged to reach their personal bests through active collaboration with families, colleagues, and other professionals. While recognizing students’ individual strengths and diverse needs, we empower them to become successful, contributing members of society.    

Hancock Central School District is committed to identifying and meeting the diverse needs of each student. Through a partnership with teachers, administration and parents, we strive to promote each students academic and social well-being as he or she prepares for future endeavors.
