On March 14-15 Shane and Morgan attended the Iroquois District Qualifying Tournament in Forensics (speech and debate). Shane competed in the category of Dramatic Interpretation with a performance of "The Orange" by Joyce Carol Oates and Morgan competed in the catgory of Humorous Interpretation with her rendition of the famous Monty Python sketch of "The Pet Shop". Morgan eventually was eliminated but went on to the student Senate where she qualified for the Super Senate and debated the passage of bills.

Shane continued for 7 rounds and was announced as the first place winner.

Shane is now eligible to attend the NFL National Tournament in Las Vegas in June where she will compete against students from all over the US in a week long tournament.

Congratulations to Shane for this tremendous accomplishment.
