The physical education program, intramurals and the interscholastic athletic program contribute to the total education of the student. Competitive sports sharpen the intellect, improve concentration, and help insure that a healthy body will be able to do better mental work.
The district has interscholastic varsity, junior varsity and modified programs in both boys' and girls' sports, through its membership in the Mid-State Athletic Conference.
